- Green Builder Magazine Green Home of the Year Award: Best Community Project

A jury of designers and contractors selected ten outstanding properties from around the country as “stellar examples of next-generation thinking.”

- The Arkansas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Merit Award

Modus Studio was honored for outstanding architectural design

- Displayed at American Institute of Architects National Headquarters

Selected by the AIA Center for Emerging Professionals Annual Exhibition committee for display at AIA National headquarters in Washington, DC.

- US Green Building Council—Arkansas Most Outstanding Residential Project

A selection committee chose ECO Modern Flats from all the LEED-certified residential projects completed in the state in 2011. 

- Illinois River Watershed Partnership Golden Paddle Award for Construction

The Illinois River Watershed Partnership 2011 Golden Paddle Awards honor leaders in watershed stewardship and natural resource conservation in the Illinois River Watershed. Six awards are given annually to individuals or entities that exemplify good stewardship in the protection, preservation, and enhancement of the watershed.

- Fayetteville Construction and Developers Sustainability Award

Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce honors outstanding new developments each fall.  ECO Modern Flats was awarded the highest honor in the sustainability category for 2011.

- National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat

The National Wildlife Federation certifies landscapes that satisfy criteria in four categories including native plant landscaping and water-wise irrigation.  Our certification was part of Fayetteville’s community-wide effort to become a Certified Wildlife Community.

- Earth Day NWA ECO-Awards Greener Award in Green Building

Earth Day NWA organizes America’s longest continuous Earth Day Festival, with hundreds of events over the course of 40 days.  2012 was the inaugural year for ECO-Awards, which were presented to individuals and businesses in sixteen categories.

- Fayetteville Urban Forestry Advisory Board Landscape Award

Recognizing best examples of sustainable landscapes, a team of judges selected winners based on the criteria of outstanding Design and Aesthetics, Preservation of Natural Environment, Environmental Best Management Practices, and Attraction to Wildlife.  One residential landscape and one commercial landscape were recognized.
